This is a favorite at large gatherings. I t can be prepped ahead of time and frozen until ready to use.

Ingredients
  • 1-14 oz. pkg. Hillshire Farms Lit'l Smokies (about 40) or larger pkg. if you need to make a large quantity
  • 1- 17.3 oz. pkg. Puff Pastry Sheets (2-15' x10")- enough for 54 piggies
  • Dijon Mustard
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T. water
Instructions
  1. Place one sheet of thawed Puff Pastry onto a floured surface.
  2. Cut vertically into thirds, using the folds as your guide. This will give you 3-3" wide sections.
  3. Cut across horizontally at 1" intervals.
  4. Spread Dijon mustard over the center of each strip of dough.
  5. Roll a little "piggy" in it's blanket.
  6. Once your finished, place them on parchment paper. Score them 2-3 times and brush with egg wash.
  7. These can be baked or frozen to use at a later date.
  8. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden in color.
