  • ½ pound Linguine ( I used Barilla's Linguine Fini.)
  • ½ c. reserved pasta water
  • 2 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 T. butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
  • ½ t. red pepper flakes
  • zest from 1 lemon
  • 2 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 pound or more of jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ t. basil
  • ½ t. oregano
  • 5 oz. pkg of baby spinach
  • 2 T. butter divided
  • ½ c. parmesano-reggiano cheese
